After IPhone from Apple now Google is going to launch its Gphone in the Market.

Price also very cheap compared to the Iphone.

Now google is changing its strategies towards mobile market. Google, the nearly $13.5 billion search engine major, worldwide launch of its much-awaited Google Phone (Gphone) and has started talks with service providers in India for an exclusive launch on one of their networks.

The Google phone cost is approximately Rs.11,000/- in the US market from October last week.

Google is thinking about its expansion plans to reach the common man and at the same time it is going to get some profit from this.

The GPhone is installed with the New Opensource Operating System for the mobile i.e Google android. (Acquired by Google the Android operating system light version of linux kernel based).

Gphone in its mobile it is featuring various technologies like

Handset layouts
The platform is adaptable to both larger, VGA, 2D graphics library, 3D graphics library based on OpenGL ES 1.0 specifications, traditional smartphone layouts.

The Database Software SQLite is used for data storage purposes

Android supports a wide variety of connectivity technologies including GSM/EDGE, CDMA, EV-DO, UMTS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Java virtual machine

Android will support advanced audio/video/still media formats such as MPEG-4, H.264, MP3, AAC, AMR, JPEG, PNG, GIF.

Android is fully capable of utilizing video/still cameras, touchscreens, GPS, compasses, accelerometers, and accelerated 3D graphics.

i.e why the cost of the phone also reduced (because of the Opensource operating system).
